Deep space: the Moon and L1
Published
The far end of the map: the Moon at its true size and distance, and the gateway between it and Earth.

- Three Moon points, 10,000 km up: the far side, east and west. From the far side the whole Moon is in view and Earth is hidden behind it.
- Earth–Moon L1, 326,400 km from Earth’s centre. It is the one door between the Moon and Earth: every way down passes through it.
- Nothing jumps through a body. From the far side you go round to east or west, then to L1.
Each place is a circle of play 800 km across. More: Earth–Moon L1, the far side of the Moon, travel nodes.
